Pavanamuktasana of the wind relieving pose helps to improve the digestive system. It helps to remove the gases from the stomach and ease the problem of constipation. Follow these steps to do yoga properly.

  1. Lie straight on the floor.
  2. Take a deep breath.
  3. Raise your legs and slowly bend your knees to bring it close to the chest.
  4. Touch your knees with your knees.
  5. Hold the pose for thirty seconds and then come back to normal position.


Balasana or also known as the child’s pose is another such yoga position that helps to relieve digestive problems. Apart from relieving constipation, it helps to improve the thighs and lymphatic issues too. Follow the steps to do yoga properly. 

  1. Sit on the ground, on your knees, keep your back straight.
  2. Bring your thighs to your chest. 
  3. Extend your arms straight ahead.
  4. Hold this position for about three minutes and then get back to the normal position.
